Doc McStuffins Birthday

The doc is in!
It was time for a three year old check-up and we all knew Doc McStuffins was best for the job. So, we invited our guests to the Cuddle Clinic for a healthy dose of fun! Between the candy prescriptions and teddy bear patients, this party’s cuteness factor was on overload. Check it out!

Welcome to the Cuddle Clinic!

Our pharmacy was full of treats to make us sweet!

The Doc prescribed the sweetest of cakes from Sewell Sweets! It was pink and purple velvet...yum!

Treat(ment)s included chocolate pretzel thermometers, yogurt shots, candy vitamins, and strawberry wafer band-aids!

Don't forget to stay hydrated!

Everything tastes better out of glitter cups;)

Our Build-a-Bear "patients" with their own custom hospital gowns!

Our check-in table had patient wristbands, check-up lists, and doctor kits and accessories.

Having fun playing doctor!

Our check-up station was just the right size for doctors in the making!

Hallie and her hippos. The kids LOVED blowing bubbles!

Pin the band-aid on Lambie was the perfect twist on a classic party game.

The beautiful birthday girl!

Make a wish!

At the end of the party, we finally reached a diagnosis...everyone had a classic case of Happy-birthday-tosis!

XOXO,
Bella C

"The Little Mermaid" Pool Party

For this pool party, we dove "Unda da Sea" and transported guests into Ariel's mermaid kingdom! With splashy elements like our jellyfish lanterns, mermaid tail towels, and ship anchor favor bags, the undersea motif was in strong effect. And, of course the birthday girl LOVES The Little Mermaid, so we incorporated all of her favorite movie elements, with Dinglehopper Hair Bows, Sea Witch Punch, King Triton's Clam Cookies, and more! The kids loved all of the little details, and even had fun with some Little Mermaid trivia. For activities, we had kiddie pools, an inflatable water slide, and played "Mermaid Sack Race" with old pillow cases--they had a blast!

Little Mermaid Dessert Table

The beautiful mermaid cake was courtesy of Sewell Sweets!

The desserts included seashell chocolates and edible pearls, assorted macaroons, chocolate dipped madeleines, and King Triton's clam shell cookies!

 Little Mermaid Favor Table

Favors included: Dinglehopper hair bows, miniature tridents, mermaid tail towels, and ship anchor goody bags.

And to drink? Ursula's Sea Witch Punch, of course!

Finally, here are a few fun snaps of the kids in our mermaid/merman photobooth!

Classic Graduation Party - Blue and White

'Tis the season for graduations! Check out this classic blue and white grad party for a rockin' smart 2015 graduate!

The cake table.

Check out all of those awards and scholarships!

We had guests write "Words of Wisdom" to the graduate, that will be turned into a scrapbook to take with her!

She also loves all things My Little Pony, so I surprised her by customizing a Class of 2015 MLP as a tribute.
Never grow up!;)

Wishing her all the best on her next chapter of life!
You've got this!

Xoxo,

Science Birthday Party

How do most people celebrate the big 5-0? Not like this! But this science-savvy grandpa wanted something outside of the box--so here it is!

A science-themed 50th birthday bash...
Oh, for the love of science!

Our candy bar, served in beakers, vials, and all things science-y!

We used the periodic table of elements motif throughout the decor (and even made up a few of our own elements to make it work!).

What's that oozing out of the drink dispenser? A mad scientist concoction, of course!
(AKA, Kool-Aid and dry ice)
And how cool are those petri dish Jell-Os?

How else would a mad scientist take their drink, if not out of a beaker? So fun!

I really, really love when I get to work on a theme that breaks the "norm," so this party was so perfect to get to work on!

Superman Graduation Party

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's a college graduate!!!
This party was styled for the ultimate Superman fan, who overcame the Kryptonite of assignment deadlines and came out on top with a Bachelor's degree from Portland State University. Woot woot! Scroll through the pics to see all of the heroic little details. My fav? The graduate's portrait. So awesome!

Little details paid homage to Clark Kent...see if you can spot them all!

The graduation cake was made by the talented Diane Anderson.

Guests were asked to sign the graduate's cape, rather than a guest book.  Such a fun token for the graduate to take with him!

Daily Planet Post:
